When you read our product details, you'll notice a section called Note Profile. I'm going to further explain what top, middle, and base notes are.

Top Note: This is the initial impression when you first smell a candle or remove the lid. This scent will evaporate the quickest.

Middle Note: The middle note is the “heart” of a candle. It can take 10 to 20 minutes for the middle notes to fully develop. When you are burning a candle, the middle notes are the most prominent.

Base Note: The base notes are what give a candle lasting qualities. It is the scent that lingers even after the candle is extinguished.

Adding a scent name like "Fruit Loops" does a candle no justice. Some people actually smell fruit loops while others smell the base note, lemon. We figured that listing the note profile would be more reliable than just plain, "Fruit Loops" because everyone picks up on different notes.
